✨ Check out the Sunday Tour Details✨

If you’re joining (or thinking of joining!) my New York City trip, I’m excited to offer an optional, guided day exploring some of the most meaningful and iconic sights in Lower Manhattan – without you having to plan a thing! 🙌

Here’s what the day will look like:

🧳 9:00 a.m. – Easy Start to our Day:
After our delicious breakfast (included in cost), our motor coach driver will pick up all our luggage, so you can enjoy the day hands-free! From there, we’ll hop on the bus and head downtown together to Lower Manhattan – Battery Park.

⛴️ 10:00 a.m. – Statue of Liberty 🗽 & Liberty Island
We’ll walk together to the ferry line and board as a group to visit the Statue of Liberty – one of the most powerful symbols of freedom in the world. 🇺🇸

Once we arrive, you’ll have about 1.5 hours to explore at your own pace:
• Visit the museum
• Grab an early lunch at the casual café (burgers, chicken tenders, ice cream, etc.)
• Shop for souvenirs
• OR pre-book pedestal tickets for an elevated view (note: lockers required for bags)

⛴️ 12:00 p.m. – Ellis Island:
We’ll board the ferry to head to Ellis Island. Walk in the footsteps of millions of immigrants – perhaps even your ancestors – at Ellis Island’s National Museum. Over 12 million people immigrants passed through these doors from 1892-1954.

You’ll have 1–1.5 hours to explore the museum.
💡 A highlight: a FREE self-guided audio tour (headset + device) that walks you through each room and tells powerful, real stories of those who passed through. It’s incredibly moving and informative. Note: there’s also a small Cafe/ restaurant inside this Museum with delicious food/coffee for a more mature pallet! 🍲

⛴️ 2:00 p.m. – Return to Battery Park via ferry

🚶‍♀️ Guided Walk Through Lower Manhattan:
When we return, I’ll lead us on a meaningful walk toward the 9/11 Memorial with a few historic stops along the way:

• Bowling Green – NYC’s oldest public park, dating back to the 1700s with very cool history 👑
• Charging Bull statue on Wall Street 🐂
• Trinity Church, where Alexander Hamilton is buried

This is a great way to experience the history and energy of this part of the city – all in one walk!

🌳 3:00 p.m. – 9/11 Memorial:
We’ll end at the 9/11 Memorial, a beautiful and powerful space honoring those lost on September 11th. One of the most meaningful features is the Survivor Tree, a symbol of resilience and hope that truly stays with you. 💛

🏛️ Optional: 9/11 Memorial Museum:
If you’d like to go deeper, you can visit the highly recommended and emotionally powerful 9/11 museum (tickets must be purchased online in advance and are timed).

🚇 Return to Times Square (~4:00 p.m.)
Those not visiting the museum will head with me on the subway (Red Line #1) back to Times Square/42nd Street. From there, you’ll have the afternoon free to explore, shop, see a show, or relax!

🚌 7:00 p.m. – Departure for Home! (Dropping you back at your Rockland or Plymouth Park & Ride lot location)
